Dr Jenny is very nice, patient and skilful throughout my root canal treatment procedure. She’s very detailed in her explanation which is very reassuring for someone who is doing root canal treatment for the first time. I visited Garden Dental for a root canal. I had never gotten a root canal before and, needless to say, I was extremely anxious. Dr. Christin was assigned to my case and I am thankful that she was. She was not only emotionally reassuring but also provided detailed information about the procedure, laid out all possible treatment options, and took the time to answer all my questions (and believe me, there were many). I was surprised and grateful that she also took the time to respond to my post-treatment Whatsapp messages to the clinic and even checked up on my condition after some time had passed. The treated tooth is now pain-free and functioning normally. I will be returning to the clinic for normal check-ups and cleaning.
First visit for assessment for my aligners. The lobby compound is very cozy. Front desk staff were pleasant. My attending dental physician was Dr. Christin, very calm, her voice is very clear and verbally articulate which is a plus as I would prefer not needing someone to repeat what they just said. With her competent assistant during the procedure, you’re in good hands. It was a good first visit.

What are dental implants?
Dental implants are a way to safely and reliably replace your missing tooth.
How does it work?
A titanium fixture is surgically inserted by an expert into the jawbone beneath the gums, providing a firm foundation to hold the tooth implant in place.

How will they benefit you?
Dental Implant Procedure
1. Consultation
We will assess your oral health, examine your teeth and gums, and determine if you’re a suitable candidate for dental implants. We may also take X-rays or perform other imaging tests to evaluate your jawbone structure.
2. Treatment Planning
If you’re deemed eligible for dental implants, we will start developing a personalized treatment plan. Our dentist will discuss the options available to you, including the type of dental implant, the number of implants needed, and the materials to be used. They will also consider factors such as your overall oral health.
3. Implant Placement
The procedure involves two main stages.
In the first stage, our dentist will surgically place the implant fixture into your jawbone. This is done under local anesthesia, ensuring you’re comfortable during the procedure.
After making an incision in your gum tissue, a small hole is drilled into the jawbone, and the implant is carefully positioned.
The gum tissue is then stitched back in place, leaving the implant fixture securely in your jawbone.
4. Osseointegration
After implant placement, a crucial healing process called osseointegration takes place. This involves the natural fusion of the implant with the surrounding jawbone.
Over a period of several weeks to months, the bone tissue grows and integrates with the implant, providing a stable foundation for your replacement tooth or teeth.
5. Abutment Placement
Once osseointegration is complete, you’ll return to our clinic for the second stage of the procedure. Our dentist will make a small incision in your gum tissue to expose the implant and attach an abutment. The abutment serves as a connector between the implant fixture and your replacement tooth or crown.
6. Dental Restoration
After the abutment is placed, our dentist will take impressions of your teeth to create a custom-made dental restoration (e.g. crown, bridge, or denture). This restoration is designed to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth in terms of shape, size, and color.
7. Final Placement
Once the dental restoration is ready, you’ll visit our clinic for the final placement. The restoration is securely attached to the abutment, providing a functional and aesthetically pleasing replacement tooth or teeth.
8. Post-Procedure Care
After the completion of the dental implant procedure, our dentist will provide you with instructions for post-operative care. This may include guidelines on oral hygiene, diet modifications, and follow-up appointments. It’s essential to maintain good oral hygiene, regularly visit your dentist for check-ups, and report any concerns or issues that may arise.
